The Ideon Science Park is one of the first science parks to sign the UNGC and is directed to the goal 8, sustainable economic growth, supported by goal 5, equality, goal 9, innovations for industry and goal 17, partnership. In 2019 the park connected World changing innovations to the challenges in the World, faced by the UN organisation UNOPS, when it formed a partnership to try to match the two and find solutions to challenges in climate, refugee or war disasters. Why did the UNOP Global Innovation center end up here in Lund, and how has Ideon worked to foster innovation and entrepreneurship over the year, and why is Ideon Science Park mentioned in the book “Smartest places on Earth”? |
