Welcome to join us!Today we will listen to Suzanna Santrac and Oliver Lindman talking about their work with "Hjälteskolan" (School of Heroes) Suzanna Santrac, actress, founder and artistic director of THEATRON. She has been activein theatre and film in Sweden since 1996. She was born in Gothenburg, Sweden by Yugoslav labor migrants, and particularly enjoys working with performing projects concerning upheaval, migration, identity, belonging, rootlessness etc. Oliver Lindman is screenwriter, songwriter and producer. With THEATRON he has also worked as a drama pedagogue, specialising in our VR (Virtual Reality) experience. Teater Theatron is a non-profit theatre company and community-oriented organisation. We create plays and performances around themes that strongly affect people, with the explicit aim of engaging the audience in conversations. The association was founded in 2001, in Lund and Malmö in the south of Sweden and is run by actor couple Suzanna and Zeljko Santrac. In HJÄLTESKOLAN, a social project within THEATRON, we run performing arts workshops with young people between 12 and 25 years. The aim is to increase empathy and encourage more complex and nuanced understandings of others. The workshops revolve around civil courage, heroic stories and questions such as "How do I choose the right thing in life? How do I know what I want to be? What is it like to be brave? Welcome to join us!Today Team Rynkeby is one of the largest charity projects in Europe, where the number of countries, teams, participants and sponsors is steadily growing year by year. In October 2020 Team Rynkeby Foundation Sweden donated 3,1 M€ to the Children Cancer Foundation and 0,6 M€ to the Children Brain Foundation organizations. In total Team Rynkeby Sweden during the years has raised and donated 19,1 M€. Following interviews in August, 41 participants were selected to team Lund and will make the journey to Paris July 2021, if the pandemic situation allows us. In Sweden there are 16 teams engaging 900 people, riders and service team. Team Rynkeby works in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, the Faeroe Islands, Iceland, Germany and Switzerland. Karina a researcher and a TR rider who knows how expensive it is to run experiments in the lab. She worked with research in leukemia for 17 years and has now moved on to transfusion medicine and coagulation research, but cancer research is still close to her heart. – What?! A festival for comedy? In Lund? In about four months? Ok. Let´s do it!!In 2010, the city of Lund lost the competition of being the European Culture Capital of 2014. That made way for another cultural happening in Lund: Lund Comedy Festival, Sweden´s biggest festival for comedy. Kajsa Jönsson, producer and MD at Anagram Live, has worked with and formed the festival through eleven years. She has worked within the creative sector for almost two decades, in both private and public businesses. She will in this short lecture share with us, the development of a creative business – it´s opportunities and it´s obstacles – and the great importance of relations, visons, curiosity and passion. Lena works with design and facilitation of organizational development processes in her own consultancy business In Rythm. She has a background from HR manager roles in large scale international companies such as Ericsson, Skanska and Ikea. Most recently she was part of a global team supporting the re-organisation of the entire Ingka group. Her work is based on Gestalt methodology, which offers a perspective on humans in organisations and how to improve effectiveness through people & interactions. Did you ever wonder how your organization could become more effective? Did you ever initiate an organizational change? What was the result and how do you know that? Lena will share her learnings and perspective on organizational effectiveness and leading change processes, and provide a few questions for you to reflect on. Welcome to join us!Rob Haans is originally from the Netherlands but is today living outside of Lund in Dalby. He has trained martial arts for more than 40 years and has been working professionally with sports for more than 30 years. He has won the world championship three times, the European championship two times and is two-fold World Gold Medalist in Ju Jitsu. Today, Rob works as a sports entrepreneur and concept developer. He is also the National Team coach for the Swedish National Ju Jitsu Team. Today Rob will talk about Value driven leadership on the title "Building the person behind the entrepreneur" Really looking forward to seeing you all again! Karin Hammarlund will talk about a new generation railway – new main lines for high-speed trains. Hässleholm-Lund is a 70 km long double-track high speed railway with a top speed of 320 km per hour which is now undergoing the procurement of a localization study, the first step in the planning process towards a railway plan. Karin Hammarlund is Infrastructure Strategist at Lund municipality and project manager of Lunds work and participation in the Hässleholm-Lund project. Prior to her position as infrastructure strategist at Lund municipality Karin Hammarlund most recent positions has been: CEO Kreera Samhällsbyggnad, Head of department at Ramboll Sweden Landscape and Planning unit in Malmö, Researcher and lecturer at Department of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management SLU Alnarp. Does China provide African countries with ‘China-powered’ agency to challenge other external actors for their own political benefit? During this talk, Johanna Malm will show that while political actors in aid-dependent countries can indeed be endowed with ‘China-powered’ agency that they can use in relation to China and other external actors, it is a circumscribed kind of agency that hinges on China’s own strategic interests. Dr. Johanna Malm is an independent researcher and a member of the Stockholm Observatory for Global China. Johanna has conducted research on the DRC’s relations to China since 2007, including extensive field work in Kinshasa and Lubumbashi. Johanna was previously researcher at the Centre for Chinese Studies at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, and PhD Fellow at the Department of Society and Business at Roskilde University, Denmark. Johanna holds a PhD in International Development Studies from Roskilde University, an MA in Peace and Conflict Studies from Umeå University, and a BA with Honours (cum laude) in Political Science from Stellenbosch University. Today we will listen to Johan Nordqvist from Lund. He has been living in Spain since 2013 and is a proud father of 6 children. Johan has been responsible for the national anticorruption commission in Spain since 2017. Since February 2021 he has been working as Senior advisor at UNODC (United Nations office on Drugs and Crime) in Vienna and is currently in the process of moving there. In his speech, Johan will give us a brief background on himself but also general information about the anti corruption work in Spain, the link between Rotary and UN but mainly about the work at UNODC, the Kyoto conference results and goals for crime prevention until 2030.
